Hello, friends!

I know, far from it.  But it does fell like a Mamas & The Papas kind of day- cloudy with some bleak sun shining through.  A taste of what’s to come in the very near future.  There, have I depressed everyone yet?

I’m back!  Eight weeks of busting my butt has paid off, and now I can get back to doing the things I love that don’t incur blisters, bruises, and slight head injuries.

While I was gone- from the computer- I’ve noticed a few things: 1. this real estate slump is bunk, as I’ve been out shopping up a storm with new buyers, 2. housing prices have not dropped in S. Mpls the reported 12% that the rest of the market has, 3. sellers are willing to negotiate, and there are “deals” to be had, but people are not desperate to give their houses away, 4. interest rates are LOW and may even drop some more, so if you’re a buyer and aren’t actually buying, get off your duff and take advantage of your best opportunity in a DECADE.

Some of you may have seen the WCCO segment on Radon last night.  Living in Minnesota- one of the highest risk states for Radon induced cancer- you should know what it is and how you can test for it.  Check out the Minnesota Department of Health for more information.
